 Stack Physio – full time Physiotherapist position

About the role:

Stack Physio is seeking an outstanding female physiotherapist to join our practice in O’Connor/Fremantle. Our clinic space is an incredible purpose-built sports physio clinic, with consulting rooms, a large rehab gym, a separate movement room, staff room, and more - it is the kind of space every sports physio would want to work in. 

We are looking for someone who brings great clinical skill, energy and passion for what they do. We are seeking a full-time physio with years of experience treating musculoskeletal and sports conditions. Postgraduate Musculoskeletal or Sports qualifications are desirable, as are clinical pilates or women’s health interests. 

We value clinical excellence through thorough examination and diagnosis, manual therapy, exercise and management advice, underpinned by strong clinical reasoning. We run weekly in-house professional development and are committed to constant improvement, in a supportive team environment.

About you:

Experience: Experience in sports / musculoskeletal physiotherapy is critical. You have sound skills in manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation, and know the value of each. Experience in and passion for coaching movement and exercise. 

Energy: you bring drive and passion to your work, you are an upbeat person, an excellent communicator with great empathy and motivation to do the best for your patients. You challenge yourself and push our team to improve. 

Exercise skills: you have an excellent understanding of movement mechanics, exercise and sports demands, loading strategies, exercise rehabilitation and training integration and management. 

Evidence: you treat under a biopsychosocial, evidence-informed model of care, with a service-focused approach to your patients. You work to keep your knowledge base current and question your practice.

X-factor: We want to know what sets you apart from the pack, what helps you to provide a better service for our patients. We’d love you to bring a different skill set or perspective to our team!   

Job specifics:

-        Full time, salaried employee, with base salary and excellent commission rate (anticipated range $100-$130k)

-        Varied morning and afternoon shifts, with some Saturday mornings

-        Stack is located in O’Connor, close to Fremantle, easy to get to, and with a great cohort of patients 

-        Combination of one-to-one clinical consultations and small group exercise classes (rehab, strength, prevention, performance) 

-        We don’t jam your diary. We make sure workload is manageable and enjoyable

-        Annual external PD allowance

-        Support and mentoring under director Ben Mather (APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, ED Advanced Scope Physiotherapist) and our awesome team of physios & admin staff

Requirements

You will need to have:

-        a Bachelor or higher degree in Physiotherapy, and be currently registered with AHPRA

-        Professional Indemnity insurance 

-        National Police Clearance, Working With Children Check, current first aid certificate

-        Two current referees

-        Availability to commence within the next 6-8 weeks

-        Excellent communication skills, a sense of humour, a team mindset and a genuine desire to grow
